New! New! New!

FOLLOW

Good afternoon Leaders and Friends! I don’t usually message you on Saturdays, but thought the contents of this message might enhance your weekend. These days when every day can seem the same, I would remind you it IS the weekend!

I trust you are as well as you can be in the midst of this pandemic. A brief reminder to lead yourself well in all four dimensions so you stay fit to lead others.

  • Physically: Discipline yourself in workouts, eating, drinking, resting
  • Intellectually: Manage your thoughts so they don’t manage you
  • Emotionally: Channel your feelings constructively
  • SpirituallyStay connected with your identity and purpose

Now, the real intent of this Saturday dispatch. As I think ahead to the future and imagine “new normal,” I realize how much “new” is happening right now. Keep reading for one item debuting this weekend for you:

NEW BOOKWe are in the final stages of interior and exterior design on my book “Lead Like You Were Meant To: Making the Switch from Autopilot to Intentional.” Tentatively due out Labor Day. Stay tuned.

NEW COACH: McKinnon Leadership Group is very selective with our coaches. We recently made a great addition with Ms. Shannon Dew, who is already engaged with our clients. We are so glad to have her. Please see more about Shannon here.

NEW WEBSITE: Soon we will transition with a new website dedicated solely to our coaching practice, McKinnon Leadership Group, which I co-founded with Brad Sytsma last year. We have been delayed in getting a new website up and running because, thankfully, we have been too busy coaching! We’re also giving an overhaul to the McKinnon & Company website to feature keynotes, workshops and writing for leaders. Both websites should debut in the coming months.

And now, here’s what’s new for you this weekend!

NEW PODCAST! Brad and I finally took advantage of some time here in the midst of social isolating to produce O’Clock Leadership,” – a new podcast. We have had a lot of fun with this, and trust you will find it fun to listen to AND chock full of reminders to help you continue to grow as a leader.

Our first three podcasts address:

  • Leadership in Crisis
  • The #1 Obstacle to Leaders Growing & Changing
  • Top 4 Communication Problems for Leaders

Find the podcast using one of these links:

We plan to drop a new one every Thursday, just in time for 5 o’clock. If you find them useful, then help us get the word out by leaving a rating or review. That helps the podcast climb the New & Noteworthy charts! Hit Subscribe so new episodes come automatically to your queue. And finally, tell us topics you’d like us to cover in the future.

Thanks for reading this. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. And pass this along to another leader you think might benefit.

Now, more than ever. . . Lead well.
